THOC is a craft brand that utilizes traditional Lanna techniques to create handbags using spun bamboo. Typically, spun bamboo is used as an interior structure for Lanna lacquerware. However, instead of heavily coating the craft pieces with lacquer, the brand has chosen to remove this coating process and showcase the inherent beauty of bamboo texture.
In order to convey the captivating story of spun bamboo and its aesthetic appeal, this material has been incorporated as the primary graphic element in the overall brand identity. It represents nature, timelessness, and classic personality.
The logo is inspired from the shape of spun bamboo
