Key Visual, Layout Design
This exhibition invites 10 designers to explore new ways of formulating local composite materials that are inexpensive, easy to use, and sustainable through vase creation. In response to the global movement of sustainable consumption, this material exploration hopes to provide an alternative to expensive and sophisticated methods of product making that are inaccessible to local people.
To convey the concept of sustainability, the overall visual design of the exhibition incorporates grain elements that simulate the particles within the composite. This representation signifies that the materials used in the design pieces could eventually return to their natural origin.
This exhibition is part of Chiang Mai Design Week 2022, designed and curated by COTH Studio.
